Worthington Assembly is the exclusive manufacturing partner for CircuitHub. CircuitHub enables you to get an instant quote for your project including the bare boards, components, tooling, and assembly.
If you're using Altium, Eagle, or KiCAD you can use CircuitHub. For most projects that have limited complexity, CircuitHub should be your first stop. If your project is a bit more involved, you can work directly with us. Feel free to shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at (413) 397-8260.
Worthington Assembly has a world class SMT assembly line. Even though we are small we are prepared for anything; Double-sided, flipchip, PoP, 0.3mm fine pitch IC's, BGA's, you name it, we've seen it and we can handle it.
Our equipment is accurate down to 25 microns at 3 sigma (that's technical jargon for really accurate) and we have the capacity to crank through 17,500 components per hour.
We test each resistor and capacitor before it is placed. This means that even though we sometimes cannot read any markings on these components, we can still verify that the correct value was placed where it should be. Then, each and every circuit board gets an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). This means we read the markings of every single component placed on the board and verify that it's the correct part and it's in the correct orientation.
You will get a 100% correctly assembled circuit board or we will repair any issues found. Shoot us an email at email@example.com or give us a call at (413) 397-8260.

YESTech Automated Optical Inspection
Nearly every single circuit board we assemble has thru-hole components in addition to surface mount components. Some things still require an old school thru-hole component.
We've outfitted our factory to handle these components. All thru-hole components are inserted by hand. There still aren't fancy enough robots to do it for us. So in order to prevent messing this up we use a dedicated slide line with a verified setup to ensure that the correct part numbers are going to be put into the circuit board in the correct locations.
Once a board has been populated it gets put onto our selective soldering machine. This machine is so cool. If you're ever in New England, please come visit us to see this in person. It's a tiny solder fountain attached to a big robot. The robot moves the fountain in place and the fountain solders the thru-hole components to the circuit board. So the resulting solder joint is reliable and repeatable.
All of our thru-hole boards get visually inspected for any defects. If anything is found that needs more attention, it will be repaired and reinspected. Our policy is "Make it look like jewelry", so you can expect a beautifully soldered circuit board.

Yup, we do box builds. It's pretty rare that a circuit board gets used as is. Oftentimes it needs to be put into a case and connected to some wires somehow. Many of Worthington Assembly's customers aren't really interested in hiring and managing a bunch of interns to do this for them. They'd rather just focus on what they're good at - designing a product.
So if you need hardware added to your circuit board and put into a box, please let us know.
Wire and Cable
While Worthington Assembly has specialized on their ability to produce circuit boards, we recognize that most circuit boards need to connect to something. And even in this world filled with Bluetooth Low Energy and WiFi modules, sometimes you still need to wire things together with good old-fashioned copper.
So, we have equipped ourselves to handle this need and we have trained staff prepared to assemble your custom wire harness/cable assembly. Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at (413) 397-8260.
Programming and Test
Does your design have a chip that needs programming? We can take care of that. Depending on how many assemblies you would like, we can probably even automate the programming of your chips. This can be a huge time and cost savings. Even if you only have a few devices, we can still load your code for you.
Once your code is loaded up, are there any tests you'd like us to perform? We can perform simple tests like checking for voltages or looking for your oscillators frequency, but most of our customers prefer to have us perform some type of functional test. Let's work together to find the best solution for you, so that when your customer receives their product, we all have full confidence that it will work well for a long time.

Sell a bunch of stuff on Kickstarter and now have no idea how you're going to ship everything to your backers? Yeah, you're not the first. We've worked with a lot of customers who've done much better than they expected with their crowd-funded project and then feel overwhelmed by their own success. Don't worry. We can figure this out.
Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at (413) 397-8260 and we'll walk you through it.
Circuit Board Depanelizer
Many of our customers need their circuit boards conformally coated to protect them from the elements. There's a considerable amount of effort involved in coating a circuit board with this protective coating. But Worthington Assembly has a lot of experience doing this and would be happy to take a look at your application.
Sometimes you need something assembled that is really out of the ordinary. We call these odd-form assemblies. We do them all the time and some of the odd-form assemblies we handle are our biggest runners.
We have a large number of tools and the ability to make our own custom tools to handle these sorts of projects. We'd love to talk about what you have and how we can help.
