Materials for SLA*

Standard Resin

• High precision (minimum layer height 0.025mm)

• Smooth, matte surface finish

• Lowest cost for SLA

• Low mechanical strength

• Not suitable for end-use parts, visual models only

• 4 colors available: black, white, grey, and clear. If none of these are suitable to you, please reach out to us and we’ll source the materials you need.

Durable Resin

• Moderate precision (minimum layer height 0.05mm)

• Smooth and glossy surface finish, slightly transparent

• Low cost

• High strength and durability, low friction

• Ideal for interlocking parts, snaps, and hinges.

• 1 color available: white

Grey Pro Resin

• Moderate precision (minimum layer height 0.05mm)

• Smooth and matte surface finish, opaque

• Moderately priced

• Stronger and more abrasion resistant than standard resins.

• Suitable for functional prototypes

• 1 color available: grey

Tough Resin

• Moderate precision (minimum layer height 0.05mm)

• Smooth surface finish, slightly transparent

• Moderately priced

• High impact strength

• Ideal for prototypes undergoing moderate stress and strain

• 1 color available: blue-green

Flexible Resin

• Low precision (minimum layer height 0.05mm but cannot print fine features)

• Rubbery texture, flexible but not stretchy. Similar to tire rubber

• Higher cost

• Ideal for grips, overmolds, and wearable products

• 1 color available: matte black

Elastic Resin

• Low precision (minimum layer height 0.1mm)

• Gummy texture, flexible and very stretchy. Similar to surgical rubber or rubber bands

• Higher cost

• Ideal for parts that undergo significant deformation and must return to their original shape

• 1 color available: transparent white

High Temp Resin

• High precision (minimum layer height 0.025mm)

• Surface finish similar to frosted glass

• Higher cost

• Hard and glassy, very brittle

• Can withstand temperatures up to 260℃ (500℉), can survive reflow and selective soldering applications

• 1 color available: matte yellow, slightly transparent

Rigid Resin

• High precision (minimum layer height 0.05mm but good for thin features)

• Surface finish similar to ceramic

• Higher cost

• Hard and rigid, resists deformation

• Ideal for parts with thin walls like cases

• 1 color available: matte yellow, slightly transparent
